How the Theme Heatmap
actually works.
Scatter-plot every Roblox theme by saturation vs. growth rate. Instantly spot where the opportunities are — and where the competition is brutal.
Four quadrants. One decision.
Every theme lands in one of four quadrants based on saturation and growth. Blue Ocean means low competition with rising demand — the sweet spot. Red Ocean is crowded and slowing. Emerging is early-stage with potential. Saturated is competitive but still growing.
Size tells the story.
Each bubble on the chart is a theme. Its horizontal position shows saturation — how crowded the niche is. Vertical position shows CCU growth rate. Bubble size represents total concurrent players. Bigger bubble = bigger audience. Color maps to the quadrant.

Scored from 0 to 100.
We combine saturation index, growth rate, and total CCU into a single opportunity score for every theme. Higher scores mean better risk-to-reward ratio. Sort the rankings table to find themes worth building for.
Find your Blue Ocean.
Target themes in the Blue Ocean quadrant — low saturation, positive growth. Avoid Red Ocean unless you have a strong differentiator. Watch Emerging themes for early-mover advantage. Use the data to pick your next game's genre with confidence.

Common questions
What do the four quadrants on the Theme Heatmap mean?
Every theme lands in one of four quadrants based on saturation and growth. Blue Ocean is low competition with rising demand, the sweet spot. Red Ocean is crowded and slowing. Emerging is early stage with potential, and Saturated is competitive but still growing.
How do I read a bubble on the genre heatmap?
Each bubble is a theme. Horizontal position shows saturation (how crowded the niche is), vertical position shows CCU growth rate, and bubble size represents total concurrent players, so a bigger bubble means a bigger audience. Bubble color maps to the quadrant it falls in.
How is the opportunity score calculated?
The score combines saturation index, growth rate, and total CCU into a single number from 0 to 100 for every theme. Higher scores indicate a better risk-to-reward ratio. You can sort the rankings table by score to find themes worth building for, and the rankings update every 6 hours.
Which plan do I need for the Theme Opportunity Heatmap?
The Theme Opportunity Heatmap is a Studio plan feature at $49/mo. That includes full access to the genre quadrants, opportunity scores, and theme rankings. The intended workflow is to open the heatmap, spot Blue Ocean themes in the low-left rising area, sort by opportunity score, then build.
